gain one Progression.
when you gain Ten Progression, gain one Enlightenment Level.
When you gain an Enlightenment Level…

✦ +1 new Empowerment
There are Six Stages to Enlightenment. You rise in Enlightenment Stage in particular Enlightenment Levels.
Fighting someone across Enlightenments is not advisable. At least, not one-on-one.
Every time you ascend to the next stage, gain a new Meridian.
The first stage is Wretch (EL 0-1). Everyone starts here. Everyone is a Wanderer all the same.
Start with the following Meridians:
2 Empowerment Meridians.
2 Basic Ability Meridians.
3 Advanced Ability Meridians.
2 Ultimate Ability Meridians.
The second stage is Subaltern (EL 2-3).
Here, gain +1 Basic Ability Meridian.
The third stage is Brave (EL 4-5).
Here, gain +1 Advanced Ability Meridian.
And +1 Empowerment Meridian.
The third stage is Royalty (EL 6-7).
Here, gain +1 Ultimate Ability Meridian.
The fourth stage is Awakened (EL 8-9).
Here, gain +1 Basic Ability Meridian.
And +1 Empowerment Meridian.
The fifth stage is Benevolent (EL 10-11).
Here, gain +1 Advanced Ability Meridian.
The sixth stage is Violence (EL 12). At this stage, feel free to retire your character as they are free from the wheel (or bound to destroy it).
Here, gain +1 Ultimate Ability Meridian.
You can keep gaining Enlightenment Levels from here, gaining Empowerments and Abilities. But what’s the point? Break free from the Cycle.
